# Dispute Messages

> Fetch messages for a dispute discussion.

## Get Dispute Messages

Retrieve discussion messages for a dispute.

```
GET /disputes/{market_address}/messages
```

**market\_address** `string` *required*

The market address associated with the dispute.

**sort\_by** `string` (default: weight)

Sort criteria: `weight` (most influential first) or `timestamp` (chronological).

**limit** `integer` (default: 100)

Number of messages to return.

**offset** `integer` (default: 0)

Offset for pagination.

### Response Fields

**pubkey** `string`

On-chain message account address.

**market\_address** `string`

The disputed market.

**author** `string`

Message author's wallet address.

**parent\_message** `string`

Parent message pubkey for threading (null for top-level).

**content** `string`

Message text content.

**author\_weight** `number`

Author's position weight at time of posting.

**boost\_amount** `number`

Total boost weight received.

**total\_weight** `number`

Sum of author\_weight and boost\_amount.

**is\_admin** `boolean`

Whether the author is a protocol admin.

**timestamp** `number`

Unix timestamp when posted.

**message\_index** `number`

Author's message index (for PDA derivation).

Retrieve boosts for a specific message.
