The Orica Public API is designed for open access. Most endpoints require no authentication.

Public Endpoints

All read-only endpoints are publicly accessible:
  • GET /markets
  • GET /disputes
  • GET /trades/market/{address}
  • WS /ws/markets/{address}
  • WS /ws/activity
No API keys, tokens, or headers are required for public endpoints.

Request Headers

While no authentication headers are required, you may include:

IP-Based Identification

The API tracks requests by IP address for rate limiting purposes. If you are behind a proxy, the X-Forwarded-For header is used.

Future Authentication

Future versions of the API may introduce authenticated endpoints for:
  • Higher rate limits
  • Write operations
  • Premium data feeds
  • Analytics access
These will be documented separately when available.

WebSocket Connections

WebSocket connections are also unauthenticated but subject to:
  • Connection limits per IP
  • Message rate limits
  • Idle timeout disconnection
See Rate Limits for details.
